Word Became Flesh

“Who will take this Narrow Path?”

Listen to this post H E R E

One of the greatest mysteries of the ages is that of Creator, being infused into His condemned creation, that He might “legally” redeem them, while keeping intact the Laws and demands of righteousness that He originally implemented. As Creator, He has power and ultimate authority to acquit at will, but as Father, to an intelligent race, He chose to demonstrate justice through authority, rather than through sheer power, thereby proving Himself, Lord of all.

Throughout history, when God wanted to accomplish a work among man, He generally found Himself a compliant man to execute that will. Moses, the prophets, the various judges and kings, and then the ultimate intervention made by the Man, Jesus Christ! This Man would come and sacrifice His own life, in a body like ours. His body, however, was unlike ours in a very significant way. The age-old inherited proclivity to sin, was interrupted by the natural birth of a child, who was immaculately conceived, not by a man, but by the Holy Spirit! Jesus therefore was like us, or more accurately like Adam, in that He was human but being Fathered of God, He was pure from sin or the proclivity to sin. 100% man, born of Mary and 100% God, conceived of the Holy Spirit. (Word Became Flesh)

Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we find a death to the “natural-born” part of us, that we all inherit, and take hold of a New Life through our second birth, by faith, receiving the Work accomplished through Jesus’ substitutional death on the cross. This Great Exchange is what literally transforms man, in his body, here and now, into an eternal, spiritual child of God. We seamlessly continue our days in these “old vessels,” for the expressed purpose of demonstrating the existence and Love of God, at any cost! As with Christ, our Joy is found in obeying God. Our bodies are but expendable containers, glorified in suffering, and the loss of carnal assets.

Because of a refusal to let go of the temporal, few experience this Joy or Power. But to those who will receive Him, He gives Power to become the sons (and daughters) of God! Don’t miss the unspeakable, eternal Glory of God, because of a few passing pleasures. “Who will take this Narrow Path?”

Whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God

John 1:12a KJV

We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20 KJV

John 1:14
